Here is a compilation of Michael Jackson’s early music. He was the seventh child of the large Jackson family and began professional singing career at the tender age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 in 1969. From there on began his solo career in 1971, while still a member of Jackson 5.
The early 1980s, a period is most renowned for, saw his dominance in the charts and breakthrough into the mostly white dominated pop music scene. Michael Jackson tore down barriers and is cited as being the main influence to making African American entertainers acceptable and more mainstream to a mass and strong crossover, not only on MTV but across the world.
